Dear Reader
I consider my life to be riddled with interesting situations. On this profound road of my being, some of the most thrilling experiences have been with my wife, my daughter, and of course in college. The past six years have been arduous, I’ve had to keep my wits about me and stay focused, even though I sometimes didn’t make the proper decision. If there was one resolution that I sense I made correctly I would say that it was the verdict to go to college. The prime application of my education is to have a future, and although it’s hard work, I believe it’s worth it to be here.
When I began going to this institution I had one goal in mind. That goal was to obtain enough credits to join the military at a higher rank. Unfortunately, that didn’t pan and I was required to stay in school until I achieved twenty-two college credits at a level of one hundred. Although I feel beaten by the prospect of staying here longer then I intended, I know it’s for the betterment of my future as well as that of my family. There have been several difficulties in getting my finances for my tuition. I didn’t know very much about what information was needed from me in order to undergo the process of collecting financial aid. Luckily my wife, sister, and brother in law were there to carry me through that course of action.
When all was said and done I focused back on my school work. My first quarter was a breeze and blew right by. I took poetry, Math 70, and speed reading. However, my second semester was more innovated to the growth of who I am today. I personally look at the two classes, Understanding World Art and English 97, as a mind blowing experience. I love history, and art has a lot of history in it. But art doesn’t help me in the work place as where English does. Without English 97 I wouldn’t know a large amount about; sentence structure, commas, splices, fragments, verbs, semi colons, coordinating conjunctives, independent and dependent clauses, and adverbs.
To say the least, before this class you would find my essay full of errors, now I have transitioned to a new form of thought where I can study, analyze, correct, and edit with miraculous skill. The next four beautifully written documents are of my rise to this skill level. They are not written in special format or emphatic format, they are written in chronological format. I think they are the best example of my literary genius.

Introduction : Have It Your Way : The Power Of Seduction
For my last installment, I thought it would be funny to use my process essay “Have It Your Way: The Power Of Seduction. This goofy and inventive essay was well done from a humor stand point and a informational stand point as you can read in this snip it, “few seductive phrases might be; “Tell me how you like it.” and “Whips or chains baby?” Dirty talk.”
Introduction : An Eventful Birth
For my part 0ne of two, I’ve chosen “An Eventful Birth” .Following up after the descriptive paragraph, I thought it would be a good choice .In my MWA 2 I explain a story souly based around showing you the story like, “shake and cry with pain for five minutes then just as suddenly it stopped.”
Introduction : Skeloton J8
In my part one of three, I review a literary skeleton and adapt parts of its story an fill in the blanks. This piece Is called Skeleton J8 or Journal Eight: R rated meets High School.” I think I might have a talent in this field as you can see in this example, “……etc.
Introduction : Daughter Or Crook
The beginning of my E-Portfolio will be starting with Our first major writing assignment the “descriptive paragraph.” I thought this would be a triumph it starting point for my portfolio because I had so most fun with it. I love my daughter but sometimes even now I cant tell,” Daughter or Crook.” I find this quote as dedication to the first rise in my literary skills: “a vista of untold devastation.”
Have It Your Way: The Power Of Seduction
If you are unsatisfied with your life and are looking for a way to have it your way, then seduction may be right for you. Seduction will lead people astray and make them behave in ways they normally wouldn’t because they are aroused. We’re all born with the power to seduce; however, most lack the tools in which to use it. You’ll find this essay is more than the simple half interesting has no barring on you essays of the past. Think of this as more than just the how to but also the do it yourself of seducing. The Power of Seduction is much like Karma-Sutra, except without pictures, now you might think that sounds boring but before you pass judgment and feel hindered from lack of pictures keep in mind that this manual, if you will, is jammed packed with mountains of juicy description. I will show you through the door of getting what you want, so you can stand acknowledged among society.
You may be thinking to yourself, “Cody Ponds is the writer of the best literary piece since Twilight”. You may also be thinking, “what do I need on this grand quest of seduction?” I will tell you, “It’s not only about what you need but what you don‘t.” The first step in the art of seduction is to remember that most people have walls on the inside, but you must slip through the crack in those boundaries. Then act casual, cool, and average even, until you slip under their radar. The next step is to pounce on them with body language. Always remember your body speaks volumes. Good examples are; licking your lips, making sure your crotch has an extra rolled up sock for bulge, or for women, show that your legs have stockings or garter straps and most importantly stuff your bra.
Never forget when dealing with pure seduction, you need to walk down an awfully nasty road. The third step is dirty talk and it will be your weapon of mass destruction in communication. Keep the dirty talk heavy and light, by teasing your victim; this is a conversation after all. If you are unfamiliar with dirty talk a few seductive phrases might be; “Tell me how you like it.” and “Whips or chains baby?” Dirty talk is sometimes mistaken for a pick up line which brings us to our fourth and final step. You must commit to never under any circumstances, using a pick up line. In subtext, a pick up line means to pick up those that are plastered, wasted, or drunk, which won’t get you any of the benefits you would gather by using seduction. These benefits in times of advantage would be; to gain position, to reap benefits, for money, good grades or great grades, and marital bliss.
A normal person might think of seduction as powerless, this is quite the opposite. This person has forgotten P.W.P. Practical Who’s Power, in since, the definition of practical means governed by, governed by who’s power? Yours! Seduction is a power unlike any other and I have shown you how to influence and control others to upgrade your life. The words in this holiest of scripts is for the many not the few for a world of profit through sexual favors.

An Eventful Birth
On the 18th of February in 2009 my soon to be wife and I were deciding on a day for me to fly back down to southern California for my daughter’s birth .We had already bought a ticket for the 25th but we felt we needed to see each other sooner. So we switched it for the 22nd and I proceeded with my week. The due date for the birth was supposed to be the 28th, and as the date got closer we yearned for each other more and more and so we bumped up the day for my flight.
As I stepped off the plan and continued to baggage claim I found my love at the bottom of the escalator , beauty enamored like clear skies. As I held her in my arms we began to have a very intimate make-out session, two lovers reunited in the middle of Ontario Airport. Feeling embarrassed after are lips parted April and I decided to rush away from the judgmental stares to her mother’s house. April and I spent some time on her bed laughing and generally enjoying looking at each other until we slept.
All of the sudden in the middle of the night April started to shake and cry with pain for five minutes then just as suddenly it stopped. Thinking it was nothing to worry about we slept again. Two hours passed then a jolt of pain hit her again. We waited twenty minutes before heading to the hospital. I almost had to carry her in as if her ability to walk had been eliminated.
As I hasted through the many papers they gave us before we got care, April was crooning in pain next to me. Finally, we made our way into a room and the nurse told April to strip and put a gown on. I was worried that April was in more pain than she was letting on. After she had been checked out we quick-stepped to another room where the doctor came in and reviewed her situation, down there. He looked up and said
, “ um you're five centimeters dilated. “
I replied
,"and that means, what? " ,
the most offended an scared expression came across April's face as he said
, “ you're like one centimeter from doing the entire birth without any drug aid."
I tried lightening the mood by saying
, " well you better getty up on those drugs then huh."
As the nurses stammered in, hooking up needles putting a tube the size of my thump into my love's back I felt a strong urge to hurt and defend, until April out of nowhere said
, “ I feel so heavy."
I choked a laugh as she proceed speaking about how high she felt as everyone else in the room snickered.
Out of nowhere I thought, ow my god I have no camera. So I fought my way through the labyrinth that is the hospital making a full one mile circle around to three different gas stations all sold out of disposables. As I ran to my last ditch effort the fourth gas station. I stepped in to the store thinking all the while, I’m screwed but the gods blessed me this day and there was one knock-off brand left. I held my side as I forced my legs to a swift pass, hiking back to that maze that is the hospital realizing I’d been gone too long. Luckily I came in the room about fifteen minutes before the doctor wanted to push. So I decided to use up that time having April pose fer a picture with two thumbs up high as a kite. Right after the doctor and nurses stormed in an lift the gown without warning.
I’ll say this, my wife doesn’t like anyone looking at her area, so two nurses and a doctor staring is hard for her but when the doctor called eight more nurses into the room because the baby's heart rate was dropping from the drugs, she began to panic . I said they have to forcibly take out our daughter Hazel because she was dying. I held April's hand as we dealt with our fear. It took about two minutes for April to push and get Hazel out. The doctor told me to cut the umbilical cord. I felt as if I would be cutting my wife’s fingers. Blood, veins, different colored food was all visible on the out side of this gore tunnel. I cut it so slowly from fear, the doctor looked at me and said
, “what are you doing hurry up and cut it,”
I finished an got to hold my daughter for the first time still slimy before they wiped her off as she looked at me I thought
, "I would best anything to have you.”

Daughter Or Crook
Robbers or my daughter, I can’t tell the difference. A few years ago, we had burglars who came and stole from our house. I was the first one on the scene, and I will never forget the destruction I saw or the dismay I felt at walking in and seeing my house turned upside down. It is said that " lightening never strikes twice, " and statistically speaking, I know that we should never be robbed again. But yesterday, I walked in my house, and I felt as though I was revisiting that crime scene again.
Opening the front door revealed, instead of the oasis of peace I expected, a vista of untold devastation. Couch cushions were toppled on food stained floors, which was smothered with a combination of mushy cookies and half-chewed cheerios, and slobbered covered magazines were lying on hand ripped documents. My breath caught in my throat, my mind thinking that my eyes must be playing tricks with the light. I decided to fully brave the tempest of the house. My precious DVD’s cast out as if they were on Survivor. Walls were etched in red like scars or open wounds. Clothes that were once in fine ordered piles were now flung about the room. In short, it looked like Genghis Kahn and Attila the Hun had spent the afternoon pillaging my living room. I soldiered on, through the labyrinth of living room toys, across the goblin baby book city, to get to the toddler queen. As she slept strung-out on the sofa chair I cleaned and replaced the items in the house thinking all the while, "Huh, tomorrow's just another offense."

Blog Entry 1
My first impression of Juniro was that he was a tight kid; who was brave but unexperienced. Junior sees himself the same as the people on the rez see him, and thats kind of meaningless. He thought he was just another indian living on a resrvation and didn't deserve anything better. Personally I have never kept a diary, I think that Junior kept one because he wanted to have proove to himself that he lived. By emphasizing that it is "absolutely true" Junior shows that his reality is real.
One of my lifeboats for getting through the hard times is poetry, although I never really write any of them down. They just flow out of me like a brook or stream. Another escape of mine is watching anime. When things get challenging it is sometimes easier to live in a world that is not my own.
My favorite qoute in this book is "I draw because words are too limited" (page 5). I like the qoute because I find it true. Pictures are universal. Not only are there many different languages, but the way we speak changes over time, so anything written is limited to certain people.
